2. Collection and storage of personal data as well as manner and purpose of their use
a) When visiting the website
When you open our website on your terminal device, the used browser will automatically send data to the server of our website. This information will be stored temporarily in a so called log file. The following information will automatically be stored:
IP address of the terminal device, Date and time of the request, Name and URL of the requested file, Website from which access is obtained (Referrer URL), used browser and the operating system of your terminal device as well as the name of the access provider. The listed information will be processed by us with the following purpose:
To ensure a smooth connection to our website, To ensure a comfortable use of our website, To evaluate the system security and stability as well as further administrative purposes. The the legal basis of the processing is GDPR Art. 6(1). Our legitimate interest follows from the above listed purpose of the data gathering. In no case will we use the collected data to draw conclusion’s to your person.

b) When signing up for our newsletter
If you have given explicit consent according to GDPR Art 6(1)(a), we will use your email address to send regularly send you our newsletter. In order to receive the newsletter, it is sufficient to provide an email address. The newsletter is sent out as follows:
When you sign up for the newsletter, we send you an email to confirm your email address. Thereby we are able to confirm that you are the owner of that address and consent to receive the newsletter. Further information is not gathered. This data is only used for the sending of our newsletter and will only be shared with the newsletter service CleverReach (CleverReach GmbH & Co. KG, Mühlenstr. 43, 26180 Rastede).
When signing up for the newsletter, your IP address will be saved as well as the date of the sign-up. This data storage serves solely the purpose to prevent the sign-up of your email address by an unauthorized third party.
The newsletter can be unsubscribed and revoked at any time by the customer without any costs. The revocation can be done via the link included in the newsletter itself or with a message to the above listed contact.
c) When using the contact form
For questions of any kind we offer the possibility to use the contact form provided on the website. It is necessary to provide a valid email address and your name so we know who send the request and so we are able to reply.
Further information can be provided but is not required.
The data will be transferred in an encrypted manner.
The data processing for the purpose of contacting you happens in accordance with GDPR Art 6(1)(a) based on your voluntarily provided consent.
The personal data obtained for the use of the contact form will be deleted once your request as been solved.
d) When using the comment functionality
Visitors of our website can add comments. When doing so, we gather data that is shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor’s IP address and the User Agent string (to identify your browser), to prevent Spam. The entered email address will be turned into an anonymized character string (called hash) and sent to Gravatar, in order to check if the commenting person uses this service. With the use of these tracking measures we want accomplish a needs-based design and a continuous optimization of our website. Further, we use tracking tools to statistically evaluate the use of our website and to optimize our offerings. These interests are to be regarded valid in the aforementioned regulation.

On this website we use the Remarketing or similar target groups feature of Google Inc. („Google“). With this function, the website owner can display targeted marketing to the visitors by showing personalized, interest-related advertisements when visitors visit other websites that are part of Google’s display network. In order to make the analysis of the website usage, which is the basis of the interest-related advertisements, Google uses „Cookies“(see number 4.).

c) Google Adwords Conversion Tracking
In order to statistically evaluate the use of our website and in order to optimize our website for you, we use the Google Conversion Tracking. Google Adwords stores a „Cookie“ (see number 4) on your device, if you have been linked to our website from a Google advertisement. This cookie will be declared invalid after 30 days and does not serve a purpose of personal identification. If the user visits certain pages of the website of the AdWords customer and the cookie is valid, Google and the customer can recognize that the user has clicked the advertisement and that they have been redirected to this website.
Each Adwords customer receives a different cookie. Cookies cannot be tracked by other websites of different Adwords customers. The data tracked by the conversion cookie help to create conversion statistics for Adwords customers, who have decided to use conversion tracking. The Adwords customers learn about the overall number of users who have clicked their advertisements and who have been redirect to a site with a conversion tracking tag. On our website we use the so called Facebook Pixel by the social network Facebook, which is offered by Facebook Inc., 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, CA 94025, USA, or – if you are located in the EU – Facebook Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Dublin 2, Ireland.
This Facebook Pixel is a piece of JavaScript code, that is used for statistical purposes and market research purposes on our website. It allows Facebook to segment visitors of our online offer into target groups for display ads (so called „Facebook Ads“).
The Facebook Pixel is used to only display our Facebook Ads to those Facebook users who have already shown an interest in our online offer or who have certain characteristics (e.g. interested in certain topics or products, based on the visited websites), that we transfer to Facebook (so called „Custom Audiences“).

e) Usage of Technology by the PHP Web Stat Technology
On our website we use the technologies provided by PHP Web Stat, Sternbuschweg 2, 46562 Voerde, (http://www.php-web-statistik.de/). These anonymized data are obtained and stored with the purpose of analyzing the website use and to operate a live chat system to answer live support requests. From these files, user profiles under pseudonyms can be created. To do this, so called „Cookies“ (see number 4.) may be used. Mostly the hereby used cookies will be deleted at the end of the browser session (so called session cookies). The data gathered by PHP Web Stat technologies are not used to personally identify any visitor of this website, nor merged with personal data pertaining to the bearer of the pseudonym unless agreed to separately by the person concerned. 6. Social Media Plug-ins
Based on GDPR Art 6(1)(f) we use social plug-ins on our website of the following social networks to increase the brand awareness. The promotional purpose behind it is to be regarded as a legitimate interest within the meaning of GDPR. The responsibility for the running these plug-ins in compliance with data privacy laws is guaranteed by the specific providers. The integration of these plug-ins is based on the so called two click method to protect our website visitors as much as possible.
a) Facebook
On our website elements of Facebook (so called social media plug-ins) are integrated, to design a more personal usage. For this we use the „LIKE“ and „SHARE“ buttons. Facebook is a company of Facebook Inc., 1601 S. California Ave, Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA („Facebook“).
